Get to know Mrs. G...
Hi! My name is April Guenzler. I have been teaching at Brooks for 13 years! For the past ten years I have worked in first grade and I absolutely LOVE it! I love to laugh and learn every day, and I want my students to do the same! I have two little boys of my own at Brooks this year. It's hard for me to decide what my favorite subject is because I love teaching all of them! My passion is teaching children to read and I try every year to learn new best practices for teaching literacy skills to young learners. My goal is to make learning fun and meaningful for all students and to form friendships with my students and their families that will last a lifetime.
